The Leone Rock Premier League leading club, Bhantal FC still maintains a top position in the ongoing 2024/25 Leone Rock Premier League LRPL after 13 games played so far.
Bhantal FC have managed to cling on to the 1st position in the league table.
Elsewhere, Wusum Stars FC edged past Diamond Stars FC with a 1-0 win, and Star Sports Academy triumphed over Abacha City FC in an entertaining 3-2 match. The bottom of the table remains grim for Ports Authority FC, who suffered a 3-1 defeat to Bai Bureh Warriors FC. With only 10 points out of 13 matches, Ports are firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.
However, the fight for survival is still heating up. Mighty Blackpool FC, Luawa FC, Freetown City FC, and Ports Authority FC are all struggling to escape the down zone. With 13 points each, Mighty Blackpool FC and Luawa FC are in a danger zone, but it’s Ports Authority FC who are most threatened, sitting on last with only 10 points.
The Leone Rock Premier League continues to deliver excitements and drama, with the race for the title and the battle for survival set to go down to the wire.
Bhantal FC secured a crucial 1-0 victory over FC Kallon at home, extending their lead to three points.
However, the chasing pack remains hot on their heels, with East End Lions held to a goalless draw by Mighty Blackpool, allowing Wilberforce Strikers to close the gap after a 1-0 away win against Luawa FC.
Bo Rangers claimed a vital 2-0 victory over Kamboi Eagles, keeping their title hopes alive with 22 points, while Old Edwardians FC played out a 1-1 draw with Bullom Stars FC, also moving to 22 points.
