At an on-going murder matter, a 28 year old Tommy Alusine Alias Alhaji, is accused of killing a 17 year old girl, Tajo Sesay.
A formal witness is set to testify at Pademba Road Magistrate court in Freetown today.
The matter is still on a preliminary investigation and it is before magistrate Josephine Feimata Hinga at Court No.2.
The accused, after the charges were read out to him, he was allowed to take a plea.
At the hearing on Tuesday April 8, 2025, no progress was made as the case was to be adjourned Wednesday
April 9th, 2025 that is after the court had learnt that the formal witness was absent.
Chief Inspector of Police, Francess Macauley is the prosecutor representing the Inspector General of Police at the Magistrate court level.
The accused had no legal representation.
The brief states that the accused, Alusine is charged on one count of conspiracy to commit felony-murder and on count of murder of the deceased.
The murder incident is said to have happened on Tuesday 23rd July 2024, at Kondi Farm, Malama-Lumley.
The media had learnt from the prosecution that three of the suspects, Estha Kamara, Amie Foday and Ibrahim Kamara alias action, are on the run.
Ibrahim Kamara is said to be the key suspect and that bench warrant had been issued for their arrest.
The accused, together with the three suspects who are at large and the deceased are all said to be residents of the Kondi Farm, Malama-Lumley in Freetown.
