The wise bird is getting news from all angles; this is to show that the bird is not an arm chair journalist.

This time, the bird got disturbing news from the Ministry of Finance for not paying suppliers in certain institutions.

It could be recalled that, President Julius Maada Bio was very quick to bring in what he referred to as school feeding programme to gain favour from the people.

What the wise bird had noticed is that, the so-called school feeding programme today has a big question mark, the courage and boldness by the President to introduce the school feeding programme is now on one leg.

According to what the bird has gathered is that, the idea of the school feeding programme was born out of the courage to enroll children in primary school especially the vulnerable ones.

But unfortunately, according to information, it is now six or so month’s suppliers of the school feeding programme have not received a single cent from the Ministry of Finance for all what they have supplied.

As a result the suppliers decided to stop their service until they get part or all of their payments.

However, wise bird was able to get the correct figure of children benefitting from the school feeding programme as about 300,000 so far.
