Fifty-four-year old Emmanuel Sesay unemployed made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown on one count of Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on a date unknown in 2021 at #63 upper Brook Street in the Western Area in Freetown did steal physical cash of five thousand United States ($5,000) as property of Shek Salim Feika
When the charge was read and explained to the accused he pleaded guilty and he was not represented by legal counsel.
The prosecutor Sergeant 8975 Bangura I.S told the bench that, the facts as charged no available records against the accused.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused to the Male Correctional facility in Freetown the matter was adjourned to the 24th May 2024.
