Following the successful completion of a recent census sensitisation and seminar for party supporters ahead of the forthcoming 2026 Census, the Chairman of the APC Census Committee, Leonard Balogun Koroma, aka Logus, has declared that the All People’s Congress (APC) is now more prepared than ever to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place for the census and assured that APC members will stand up to be counted.
He emphasized that additional training activities are ongoing nationwide to strengthen the party’s readiness across all levels.
Despite attempts by detractors to downplay the APC’s chances in the 2028 general elections, their party remains united, strong, and resolute.
This is evidenced by the panic recently demonstrated by the SLPP chairman who called on the country’s security sector to stop the APC in 2028.
Mr. Logus Koroma emphasised that despite that call, the APC is unstoppable in 2028.
He said the people of Sierra Leone have endured enough hardship under the current SLPP regime and will not allow a repeat of the disputed 2023 elections, which led the tripartite and ANU agreement and it’s snail pace selective implementation.
Under the circumstances, he said the APC has never been more united, more organized, or more determined.
“We boast a robust and progressive constitution — a modern document that stands as a model of democratic excellence,” he said.
The party urged the SLPP to emulate their example and modernize their structures to meet 21st century standards.
Having learned from past experiences, Koroma said, they are vigilant and steadfast.
“No attempt to destabilize our party from within or without we’ll succeed,” he pledged.
The APC remains a true grassroots movement and their members are committed, disciplined, and dedicated to restoring effective governance and development in Sierra Leone.
“Our faith lies in the democratic process, and the ballot box, not force of arms will be our instrument of victory,” he said.
The people’s mandate will be respected this time around.
Their voices will be heard, and their choice will prevail. No intimidation, manipulation, threats or propaganda will silence the will of the people in 2028.
The APC is on an unstoppable march toward victory, and the SLPP government knows it. No amount of spin or deception can prevent the people of Sierra Leone from voting for much needed change in 2028.
The hardship under this regime is unbearable and the decline in governance is unacceptable.
The SLPP government has failed our youth, weakened our democratic institutions, and damaged our nation’s international reputation.
The broken promises and economic distress are clear signs that Sierra Leoneans are ready for change — and that change cannot come soon enough.
