The wise bird has been following the activities of the main opposition (APC) party before, during and after the 2018 and 2023 elections campaigns.

To substantiate all what the bird has put together about the APC, one senior member of the party has come clearly in the open to indict its own party.

Honorable Osman Timbo who was one time deputy secretary of the All People’s Congress (APC) party said the party had wasted many years in courts because it was fighting over to settle the issues between NRM and Alfred Peter Conteh.

He went further to say that, the APC flag bearer was only elected within four (4) months to elections, and at that time, he said the SLPP was busy putting strategies in place in order to win those elections, presidential and parliamentary.

By then the APC was mobilizing logistics and resources and at the same time, it was fighting after injunctions and the battle of injunctions was here and there, and they left with no time to present a case to the people-the electorates.

He further stated that, the ruling government tested the pulse and noticed that there was some amount of weakness and disunity within the party and so the SLPP capitalized on it – – the weakness of the opposition.

However, he went on, the APC party was intimated and the party was kept silent by the ruling SLPP party.

He maintained that, despite all the intimations and challenges many of the people of Sierra Leone voted for the APC as a party.

According to Lawyer Timbo, the APC did not lose the 2023 Presidential elections, but results were manipulated.

The wise bird went out to sound the views of people of sound minds on their rating of 2023 elections.

Most of the people the bird spoke with accused the APC as not serious but they are dishonest to the people.

Some of the people said the APC as a party was deceiving the people of Sierra Leone and they still continue to deceive them up to date.

For example, the truth was not told about the tripartite committee.

On this, the expectations of the people was to have a  re-run of the election but that has never worked out.

Up to date supporters, members and sympathizers of the party are not happy with the executive and by extension even members of the tripartite committee.

The bird in his quite moment is still thinking that the APC as a party still has a long way to go.
