A lot of people have always accused the wise bird of been inquisitive, but little did they know that he is working tirelessly in the interest of everybody in this country for which they should express appreciation.

The widely travelled animal that traverse the country almost on a daily basis, is always in a position to keep the people abreast of happenings in and out of the country.

But one key issue people have keep bothering the patient animal for is the implementation of the tripartite recommendations which they said they have not heard about for quite some time now.

“Since the presentation of the tripartite recommendations by the committee, much has not been heard about its implementation,” they claimed.

Candidly, Bra Parrot himself has noticed the same thing given credence to these concerned people’s concern as both the ruling government and the main opposition is all silent over the implementation of these recommendations.

This ugly development has kept the general public in complete darkness as they are eager to know about the outcome of the recommendations’ implementation but unfortunately they are yet to receive words from the committee about it.

Given that the people have so much respect for the wise bird, they keep asking whether the recommendations are dead.

Honestly, Bra Parrot has no readymade answer to their question. Instead, he went out to sound the views of the people who are more knowledgeable about the whole tripartite exercise.

Those the brave bird contacted also have their doubt over the issue, and in fact stated that both the government and the opposition are not serious.

According to them, it was unfortunate in the first place to have handed over the recommendations to the President to set up a committee for its implementation. This situation prompted the question, ‘will someone shoot himself in the head?’

According to them, the recommendations should have been presented to an independent body for its implementation because they said the President is part of the problem and therefore should not be part of the implementation exercise.

“That was the first mistake made during the presentation this is why up to date nothing is done because most of the recommendations do not favour the President.” the people said.

The wise bird is watching what will be the outcome of those recommendations.
