Musa Noah Kamara aka Musa Tombo has been named highest goal scorer in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League.
The credit comes after he was in deep disputes on his career of late.
Tombo, who joined Ports Authority at the start of the league, has been phenomenal in his standing and form.
After playing for AIK Freetong in 2018, he was the top scorer of the 2019 Sierra Leone Premier League, netting 15 goals for the ex-champions, East End Lions.
He joined Swedish club Trelleborgs FF on a three-and-a-half year deal in August 2019, but cancelled his contract after a week, citing the cold weather disturbing him in Sweden.
He retracted that statement the following day however, and insisted that he was returning to Sierra Leone to play for the national team in the upcoming World Cup qualifications fixtures.
He transferred to Bo Rangers in April 2021. He also moved to Al-Ittihad in Libya in 2022 and refused to play for them following the war in Libya. He requested to return to Sierra Leone.
On his return he was banned from playing for any other club until the expiration on that contract.
He later joined Ports Authority in 2023. Below is the list of the highest goal scorers in the outgone Sierra Leone Premier League 2023-24, where Musa Tombo emerged as top scorer.
