The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA)  under the leadership of Mr. Yankuba Askia Bio, has emerged as the top-performing agency under the Ministry of Transport and Aviation for 2024.

It hit the record with a total score of 63%, and it earned an impressive point Grade B, thus reflecting its commitment to excellence and efficiency in operations.

This achievement underscores the sea vessels’ authority’s dedication to advancing the nation’s maritime sector while aligning the Ministry’s strategic objectives.

SLPHA’s performance highlights its efforts on improving service delivery, in modernizing Freetown’s port infrastructure, and in enhancing stakeholders’ engagement.
