The youth claimed that the ruling government has rendered them more useless than they were four years ago as they have brought untold sufferings.
They further accused the regime of poor handling of the economy by not creation jobs for youth who have become vulnerable to drug addictions, armed robbery and resort to other vices as they put it the government has no better plans for them.
Sources went on that, Kabba Junior Bangura was among several protesters that stoutly resisted state security on August 10, 2022.

Most of the protesters that were arrested during the August 10, 2022 unrest have not been traced by their families who are still searching for their exact whereabouts.
Those who were extremely lucky to have fled the scene still remain at large, as this medium can authoritatively confirmed that the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Lahai Lawrence Leema was captured in footages conducting a house to house search in Freetown for perceived protesters.
Report also disclosed to this medium that most of the perceived protesters whose houses were raided were believed to have been serially murdered in cold blood by armed guards loyal to Deputy Minister Leema.
The government describes the action of the protesters as unlawful, wanting to create anarchy by toppling legitimate authority; and those that were involved were also described as coupist.
