It is reported that family members had wanted Fanta Mansaray to inherit her grandmother’s throne, Fanta Sillah who passed away on November 5th 2022.

According to report, family members went to Manjoro village Bombali district in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone to pay their last respect to her grandmother burial ceremony.

Report went on that, it was immediately after this ceremony Fanta Mansaray was informed by ‘Bondo’ members to succeed her deceased grandmother as ‘Sowei’.

Accordingly, tradition demands that, the first female granddaughter, must succeed the as ‘Sowei’ at the passing of the substantive holder.

However, this medium gathered that Fanta Mansaray kicked against the idea of becoming a ‘Sowei’.

Africa24 discovered that the situation became chaotic as Fanta put up a stiff resistance against the ‘Bondo’ members and succeeded in making a miraculous escape from their grip.

Verified report monitored by this medium has indicated that, the Bondo members have vowed to live no stone unturned rather to see Fanta Mansaray takes over the mantle of leadership from her grandmother as tradition dictates.

An in depth investigation uncovered by this medium further revealed that Bondo’ members will stop at nothing but to ensure that Fanta suffers the consequences of rejecting her ancestral belief.

They considered her action as an affront, that has the potential of damaging the tradition and bring serious calamity. They stated that the only way her action can be cleansed is either she joined or they eliminate her.
