Bra Parrot loves to read books of all kinds and at all times for the wise bird to be able to talk in public and put across points so that people will   understand and agree with the wise bird. That is more the reason why the wise bird reads widely.

During the process of finding a book to read, the wise bird saw a document titled. “NEW DIRECTION, ONE COUNTRY ONE PEOPLE, PEOPLES’ MANIFESTO”.

Bra Parrot became very much interested in the document, and took time to turn page by page of what is called the Peoples’ Manifesto. The wise bird eyes went to page 72, of the peoples’ manifesto.

What the wise Bra Parrot noticed in page 72 of the Peoples’ Manifesto are all promises of good governance.

The Peoples’ Manifesto spoke about the repeal of the seditious libel law. As Bra Parrot is not doing things on sentiment, the wise bird gave ‘KUDOS’ to the writers of the Peoples’ Manifesto and also say bravo to the sitting government of President Julius Maada Bio for repealing the seditious libel law.

As the wise bird was reading through the pages, he noticed that, the writers talked about:

• Adopting policies and laws to develop the capacity of Journalists.
• Support the school of Journalism and other institutions to train Journalists.
• Provide funding opportunities for Journalists to establish press houses as corporate entities.
• Encourage the private sector to invest in the media.

After a second look at the Peoples’ Manifesto, Bra Parrot came to realize that all what is been said in the said document are all sham, none of them stood to what was written.

The document Bra Parrot saw is even richer than heaven.
