The Chief Minister, Dr. Moinina David Sengeh, has canceled his upcoming trip to Washington DC, where he was set to lead a seven man delegation for crucial diplomatic talks with officials of the United States Government including the Mellinium Challenge Cooperation (MCC).
In a statement on social media, Dr Sengeh cited other pressing engagements requiring his presence in the country, leading to the postponement of the official visit scheduled for next week.
The delegation, including key figures like APC Leader in Parliament Hon. Abdul Kargbo, Minister of Foreign Affairs Timothy Momodu Kabba, and Majority Leader in Parliament Hon. Matthew Nyuma seeks to engage senior members of the United States Executive Branch and Congress, as well as representatives from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
