Suspension awaits Leone Stars’ goalkeeper, Christian Caulker, over match fixing allegations.
Caulker might face an “indefinite suspension” from playing for FC Kallon amidst resurfaced allegations of match-fixing, a scandal involving the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) over the years.
Sierra Leone’s ex-goalkeeper, Caulker, a superspy, saves for FC Kallon in their recent 1-0 victory against Diamond Stars at the Angola playing field on January 1st 2024.
However, inside source has revealed to this medium that Caulker’s inclusion in the squad faces serious scrutiny ahead of the Leone Rock Premier League match against East End Lions at the Trade Center Field in the east.
It was discovered that Caulker’s exclusion is linked to allegations of his involvement in a match-fixing scandal with the Sierra Leone Football Association from years ago.
The news has sent shockwaves through the football community, prompting discussions about the impact on FC Kallon’s performance. And the potential consequences for Caulker and the club are palpable in the air.
Meanwhile, questions emerge over the integrity of the sport and the measures that will be taken to address these serious allegations.
The Sierra Leone Football Association may be forced to conduct a thorough investigation to maintain the “credibility of the league” and to uphold the principles of fair play.
