Despite their 2-0 loss to Remo FC in their opening match of the Coal City tournament, FC Kallon head coach has remained optimistic despite his team’s poor display in the ongoing Coal City tournament in Nigeria.
In a truthful facebook post, Kallon acknowledged in preparedness between his side and their Nigerian opponent, who are currently gearing up for CAF competition. He expressed confidence in FC Kallon’s long-term potentials in winning games.
“We believe we are on the right track to building a competitive team capable of challenging the best in Africa,” says the Italian club legend.
FC Kallon will look to bounce back in the upcoming games amid the endless challenges. The tournament, which runs until August 11th, features eight teams vying for the title.
” It is a big achievement for us to be competing at this level, ” he assumed.
