In continuum of its appreciation tour after its first general meeting, the Sierra Leone Court Reporters Association has presented a gift to Hon. Justice Momoh-Jah Stevens who ably represented the Honourable Chief Justice during that event as keynote speaker.
Presenting the gift on behalf of the Association, the President Salifu I.S.B.Conteh applauded the Justice for all his supports and succinct statements delivered on that day which serves as an eye opener and lightens the work of the court reporter.
He said the Justice’s presence and insightful speech made the event a success, as valuable knowledge and perspectives where shared.

Receiving the gift, the Honourable Justice Momoh-Jah Stevens thanked the Hon. Chief Justice Komba Kamanda for assigning him to represent him, noting that the role of the media in Court reporting is key towards the growth and fairness of the Judiciary.
He said work of court reporting helps greatly in changing the misconstrued perspective about the judiciary and build that confidence and trust that create fair trial at all levels. As usual he retreated for more collaboration between the media and the judiciary in maintaining sustainable peace in the court.
