There is no secret about it that things have continued to fall apart in the main opposition APC party as infighting and other problems have riddled the once formidable political party to the point of reducing its chances for future elections except otherwise their house is put in order.

The Parrot knows very well that APC’s troubles stemmed from the very moment it lost the 2018 elections to the incumbent SLPP and since then it had remained fragmented with every Jack and Jill now wanting to become its flag bearer, something many believe is nothing more than selfishness.

To make matters worse, the former presidential hopeful, Dr. Samura Kamara has been abandoned and isolated to continue with his Electoral Justice struggle.

In fact a very senior member of the APC party has described the much talked about Electoral Justice as an “illegal movement.”

This was made known to the bird by the Regional Chairman Kosho J. Cole when he was responding to the spokesperson of Dr. Samura Kamara’s Electoral Justice Movement Mr. Mohamed Waritay.

Speaking on Liberty Television (TV) programme, Chairman Cole said certain people supporting Dr. Samura move are only deceiving him, insisting that in fact Mr. Waritay is not a member of the APC, and that he has no right to talk for and on behalf of their APC party.

Chairman Cole went further to explain that the former flag-bearer and leader of the party has even formerly verified his membership status in the party and very soon the authority will make the list available to the public.

The question the wise bird wants to ask is when the infighting in the APC party will come to an end as their lower level elections and by extension the National Delegates’ Conference is just around the corner.

As usual, Bra Parrot went out to get the views some members, supporters and sympathizers of the APC, and as usual there was mixed reactions.

Some emphasizes on the disunity within the party, noting that at a time like this, the party should be working towards the 2028 election preparations including the settlement of petitions cases, membership issues especially for those who will be qualified to contest for the flag bearer position.

The most respected animal is monitoring this issues he loves to see peace, unity and stability in all the political parties in the country.
