The challenging story of Africa especially Sierra Leone has been linked with food insufficiency, food insecurity and knowledge about job opportunities and entrepreneurship skills in our young people that has the potential to make our communities developed and be self-reliant.

It is a fact that the agriculture sector has all it can to encourage our youth in Africa to avoid the idea of temple run, illegal stay in other foreign countries and continents.

This press will recall to the public about the immense challenges of food insufficiency and food insecurity slowly killed people during the outbreak of the Ebola and COVID 19.

This global situation according to the research of this press will take a positive measure by the championship methods of the Everybody Must Farm (EMF) project that presently legally exists in Sierra Leone with the intention to champion global campaign about food sufficiency, food security and the creation of more job opportunities for the good of the people.

In an exclusive interview with the Founder and President of Everybody Must Farm (EMF), Sfano Njawa Sesay, he said that the EMF is a global food sufficiency and food security campaign that has started in Sierra Leone. Adding that the campaign has a strategy to influence and motivate youth participation in agriculture and agribusinesses.

He furthered that the issues of joblessness, hunger, malnutrition and poverty can be addressed when the Everybody Must Farm campaign is fully supported by the local and international development bodies that are seeking to address humanitarian affairs in vulnerable countries around the world.

The President of EMF further assured this press that Sierra Leone can be food sufficient and food secured at 2025, adding that his members in Sierra Leone has emphasized pro-activeness on the establishment of an organized community farmers and district farms about growing the variety foods that will rain and benefit the local food markets.

President Njawa further disclosed that the methods and practices of members of the Everybody Must Farm nationally is unique and worth delivering the foods needed for consumption will help make the nation unreliable to imported foods.

“I am encouraging all citizens to make themselves members of the EMF and to embrace the food sufficiency practices in the country,” President Sfano Njawa Sesay stated.
