In a bid to promote grass root soccer in the country, the Chief Executive Officer CEO, of AI Kallon football club who also doubles as the owner of Al Kallon Investment, Alhaji Issa Kallon, has paid Nine Thousand Leones (9,000.00) for six (6) grassroots coaches within Kono District.
They’re to undergo few weeks coaching exercise which will be organized by the Sierra Leone Football Association. The Coaching “B” Licensing training is slated for 22nd July to the 1st August, 2024 at Kingtom, Freetown.
Alhaji Issa Kallon noted that each of the six coaches happily received the sum of five hundred Leone (Nle500.00) as pocket money to facilitate their movements during the training and promised to do more in the future.
Kallon is a developmental oriented and dynamic young man whose hard work has touched so many youth within the district and other hard-to-reach areas in Sierra Leone.
He is also determined in growing young talents to develop their careers, especially in the world of soccer.
Alhaji Issa is similarly ready to promote the district growth in terms of football.
“I believe in soccer; Kono is the home of football. We have produced great players, and we need to encourage more talents and to tap their knowledge with passion,” he affirmed.
He however called on all football loving fans and stakeholders to put hands-on-desk to help revamp the beautiful game in the district regardless of the endless challenges.
Nonetheless, he appeal to indigenes and football lovers at home and abroad to support the dream of young players and admonished them to be able to achieve their goals.
