Thirty-years-old Valentina Norman, a business woman and Twenty-nine-years-old Ansumana Norman, a social worker, had made another appearance before Magistrate Mary Julian Gbloh of Pademba Road court no.5 in Freetown on three count charges for malicious damage contrary to section 51 of the Malicious Damage Act of 1861, accused for threatening language contrary to section 2 of the public order Act No.46 of 1965.
And for public insult and provocation contrary to section 2 of the public order Act No.46 of 1965.
According to the particulars of offence on Monday 3rd March 2025 at #37 Spur Road the western area in Freetown the western area in Freetown, the accused maliciously damaged one wooden door valued three thousand Leones(3,000) property of John Bonoh Sesay whilst in custody of Daniel Remi Turner.
Count two further stated that on the same date and place the accused person did make use of a threatening language against Ibrahim Doen Turay with intent to provoke him to commit a breach of peace.
Count three further stated that on the same date and place, the accused person did insult Ibrahim Doen Turay in such a manner which would likely provoke him to commit a breach of peace.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused persons they pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor Sergeant 3001 Francess Lamin sought for a short adjournment to lead her next prosecution witness
Meanwhile, Magistrate Gbloh adjourned the matter to 21st July 2025 and bail continues for the accused persons.
