The China Broadcasting International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd. CBIC commences a two weeks seminar for Media Professionals from English speaking countries in Africa at the LeafIN Hotel Beijing, China on Tuesday 3rd June, 2025.
CBIC invited 35 journalists from diverse Africa countries to attend the two weeks seminar for Young Media Professionals from English speaking countries. The seminar aims at empowering African journalists with professional skills to enable them compete with the contemporary media landscape.
Huang Tao, Deputy General Manager of CBIC emphasizes on the need of strengthening the bilateral relationship. After viewing the map of Africa, he became more interested in the continent and the hospitality of Africans. Furthermore, Mr. Tao said the seminar would not only be held in Beijing but, will take the participants to other cities in China. “These cities have various and different climates. Beijing is located in the North and Changsha is in the South of China “Tao states.
He revealed that, during the development of the seminar document, they deemed it necessary to for participants to have a better understanding of the different climates in the aforementioned cities and its of essence to visit these two cities in order to understand the climate and the geographical locations and the cuisines of these cities.
The Deputy General Manager of CBIC stated that, they have diverse projects in the continent and most of them are corporate and infrastructures and they are exploring ways to strengthen the relationship with Africa and it will enable the trainees to get more opportunities to know about CBIC during the seminar.
They have also being providing assistance to the various projects in Africa. “We hope to have more possibilities for corporation in the future and we hope that in the near future when we corporate with you in Africa it will also influence our enthusiasm.” The Deputy General Manager of CBIC noted. Huang Tao concludes his statement by officially declaring the seminar open.
