Sierra Leonean teenager, Jedeed Bangura, has signed a new contract for the Manchester United U-14 team in an undisclosed fee.

The 14-year-old sealed his contract last week earning the iconic number 8 jersey which is currently worn by the Portuguese midfield maestro, Bruno Fernandes.

The teenager, who is a fan of United and Fernandes, visited the Theatre of Dreams where he was able to pose alongside the Portuguese.

Other iconic players who have worn number 8  for Man United include Nicky Butt and Wayne Rooney.

Bangura was born in Freetown and left for the UK at the age of 5 where he had been attending a school there while also exhibiting his footballing talents in an infant team.

These young players from the league clubs in Europe are expected to bring a lot of excitement for the Sierra Leone National Male Team.
