Credible sources reaching this medium have revealed that one John Mohamed Koroma, has been declared wanted by the State of Sierra Leone for his participation in the Lunsar protest on 30th April, 2020.
According to our report, John Mohamed Koroma was among several youths that protested on that fateful day against the Paramount Chief, Bai Koblo Queen whom they accused of usurping development funds which, according to the youth leader, made Lunsar grossly underdeveloped.
During the protest, the Lunsar police station, the residence of the Local Unit Commander and the house of the Paramount Chief were all set ablaze to ground level by angry youths following the arrest of a youth leader by police.
The youth leader by the name of ‘Bulgur’ this medium discovered sent out an audio messages on several whatsapp groups calling for the dethroning of the Paramount Chief.
However, Police reacted swiftly by arresting Bulgur which triggered the outbreak of violence as an army of youths mobilized to free their colleague.
Report went on that the police station was attacked with stones forcing police officers to flee in disarray.
An eyewitness accounts say the police station was set ablaze and several road blocks were mounted by youths thereby obstructing the free flow of traffic.
The Paramount Chief Koblo Queen was eventually declared wanted by the youth, but went into hiding.
John Mohamed Koroma, report added was visibly seen in an open confrontation against State security apparatus.
After the dust was settled, Security apparatus raided the homes of several youth including John Mohamed Koroma whom were perceived to have played pivotal roles in the Lunsar protest.
However, John Mohamed Koroma our usually reliable sources found out; vanished to an undisclosed location fearing for his precious life.
All those who played active roles in the Lunsar protest that escaped were declared as fugitives.
Mohamed and his co-protesters whom may have fled out of Sierra Leone are still been hunted by the State and the Sierra Leone Police has declared them wanted.
Their actions are perceived to have caused unrest and anarchy by disrupting the peace and tranquility of the State.
Further report reaching this medium disclosed that John Mohamed Koroma was last seen sometime in 2021 hiding in Conakry, Guinea other report have it that he might have fled Guinea for an European country.
