Police in Sierra Leone have declared Mohamed Marah wanted for robbery with aggravation and have placed a bounty on his head for information leading to his whereabouts or possible arrest.
Police in their declaration alleged that Mohamed Marah sometime in June 10, 2023 violently attacked his former boss Mr. Mohamed Kassim Turay at his home, stabbed him and robbed him of his money.
In his statement to the police, Mr. Turay narrated that Mohamed Marah used to help him with domestic chores at home as he, Turay supports him with his education. Mr. Turay said when Mohamed went to him on the day in question, after realizing that there was nobody around, he went straight and met him in his room and asked him to handover all the money he has.
He said when he refused to do so; Mohamed Marah took a fork on his table and stabbed him severally before taking his money and ran out of the room. “He left me bleeding in pain,” Mr. Turay is quoted to have told the police.
Meanwhile, sources close to Mohamed Marah stated that the whole incident started when Mohamed Marah had gone to Mr. Turay that morning for his usual activity.
According to credible family sources, Mr. Turay’s countenance was friendly than usual not knowing he was up to something fishy.
During the course of our investigation we discovered that Mr. Turay politely called Mohamed Marah inside his room and sat him down and tried to persuade him to be his gay partner.
However, report further disclosed that Mohamed Marah instantly denied, insisting that he was not interested in such immoral and devilish act which practice, he said is in fact forbidden in Sierra Leone.
Our sources also added that when the young man decided to leave, Mr. Turay reportedly held his hands and started to play with him in a manner that angered him.
The report went on that when Mr. Turay sensed that Mohamed Marah was not responsive and was very reluctant and not interested, he decided to use force on him. Our investigative team discovered that Mohamed Marah reportedly fought hard to free himself from Mr. Turay’s grip.
Our investigative team further discovered that Mohamed during the fracas aided himself with a fork in order to get loose a situation that led to severe injury with multiple stabbing on Mr. Turay.
In the aftermath of committing the offence, Mohamed Marah we are told went in hiding. Furthermore, our team of investigators found out that Mohamed Marah narrated the unfortunate tragedy to a close family member what exactly transpired between him and Mr. Turay.
Reports added that Mohamed was admonished by a close family member to find a secret location for his own safety whilst they continue to monitor the situation.
Mr. Turay, our team of investigators discovered is well-known and influential and has connection in both police and the government. Due to the nature of the crime he (Mohamed) committed, if arrested will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Sources say, Mohamed now fears his life is in danger in Sierra Leone because he believes he has no protection
