Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Women’s Leaders from 28 constituencies have declared support for Honourable Manso Dumbuya, in his re-election bid as Chairman for SLPP in the Western Region.
In a vivacious atmosphere replete with ululation and singing, the women’s leaders solidly endorsed Honourable Manso Dumbuya at his residence in Allen Town, east end Freetown on Saturday 10th May, 2025.
Speaking on behalf of the Women Leaders of the 28 constituencies, Maya Brima, the SLPP women’s leader for constituency 123 and Fatmata Barrie Rahman, leader for Constituency 124 eulogized Honourable Manso Dumbuya as a dedicated servant of the party.
They expressed admiration for his loyalty to the SLPP, a unique feature in his political career which they assured to emulate.
Their endorsement followed the declaration of support of the Elders Council, delegates from the East Urban District and the East Rural District.
The flurry of endorsements from key structures in the SLPP has placed him in an unassailable position to securing re-election without any opposing contender.
It is a testament of his life-long sacrifice and meaningful contributions to the SLPP, which makes Honourable Manso Dumbuya unchallenged for the position of Western Regional Chairman.
Honourable Manso Dumbuya is a political strategist, whose planning and mobilization abilities make him very instrumental in winning general elections.
Chairman Manso Dumbuya is poised to deliver the entire Western Area for the SLPP in the 2028 general elections.
“Let us be clear for 2028 general elections. Western Region is the home of the SLPP secretariat, for that reason, we must work together in order for the party to dominate the region,” he urges.
Chairman Manso Dumbuya congratulated, the newly elected Women’s Leaders in the ongoing lower level elections of the SLPP and advised them to work in the best interest of the party at all times.
He concluded by expressing gratification for the endorsement, and stated further that whenever an individual enjoys the support of women in politics, one is guaranteed of 100% success.
