The Wise Bird has been flying from East to West to get firsthand information on the daily happenings of certain institutions and companies that are operating in the country.

 The bird seeks to know how sincere they are in terms of their operations.

Doing his tour, the Wise Bird started from East to West to see the types of products these institutions are producing, and to examine their qualities while getting to know how many Sierra Leoneans that these companies have employed in a bid to cushion the high unemployment rate in the country.

The bird will say this aloud without prejudice that he was amazed when he saw the list of workers employed at both Milla Group and Pee-Cee.

The list was shown to him.

The Wise Bird also noticed that Milla Group and by extension Pee-Cee are producing and importing quality products which are unquestionable to the public.

The Bird further understood that Milla Group/Pee-Cee has employed over one thousand (1,000) Sierra Leoneans which has reduced the unemployment rate in the country.

Some are employed as casual workers while others are permanent staff.

Documents were made available to the Wise Bird in respect of payment of NASSIT for the workers, a privilege which many companies are not giving to their workers.

And in the area of salaries, Milla Group/Pee-Cee workers are getting very attractive pay.

In fact, the Wise Bird was very jealous of the privilege given to the workers and so he was contemplating of applying for a job at Milla Group/Pee-Cee and Sons.

However, not that, other companies are not doing well, but only that the Wise Bird calls things by their correct names and he gives praises were praises are due.

Furthermore, the Bird was reliably informed that Pee-Cee and Sons is the only company in the country that usually gives out provisions and other items to thousands of Muslims and non-Muslims including journalists during the month of Ramadan and even in other holidays.

The company has been doing this kind gesture by way of reducing the hardship on people in the country.

The bird was also told that Milla Group/Pee-Cee honours all tax obligations imposed on business institutions by the government.

Therefore, it is necessary that other companies should follow the same pattern by paying their taxes that is due to government for the proper functioning of the state.

The uncompromising bird is closely watching other companies in respect of their operations, payment of salaries to workers, clearance of NASSIT rates and taxes payable to government.
