Bra Parrot has been following every activity in the last Parliament of the Republic of Sierra Leone, to be able to report accurately, correctly and objectively.

The brave bird has the greatest respect for the House of Parliament and by extension the Hon. Members of the House of Parliament. 

Parliament building everybody knows is situated in the central part of the City Freetown, at Tower Hill. The brave bird came to the realization that, in the last Parliament some members in the opposition parties some time allegedly sell-out by way of supporting bills that are not to be supported, which they support at the detriment of the nation.

The problem the brave bird is having now is the way and manner in which the political atmosphere is in the country. Many a time, bills are passed in the House of Parliament and those bills are sometime not in the best interest of the nation.

The brave bird is a visionary being, sees things before they happened, notwithstanding good bills have been passed in Parliament at the same time very bad bills have also passed in the same Parliament.

What the brave bird is saying is that, most of the bad bills passed in Parliament the opposition parties were always in support of those bad bills underground failing to know that, they were doing disservice to the nation.

 

What the brave bird want people to know is that, the new Members of Parliament might not know what to do but the old guys will go all out to educate them about the procedure in Parliament and their benefits.

Let us think for a minute that, the new members have not seen $500 at one go, and a bill is to be passed is it not possible for them to compromise their positions by way of supporting blindly for the bill to pass at the detriment of the State?.

The brave bird is praying that, the issue of APC not taking part in governance is put to rest so that we see what will happen in the process if the new Members will not sellout as the old guys did in the last Parliament.

It is very important to make clear that, nobody or even the brave bird is saying that, Parliament is corrupt or Members of Parliament are corrupt.

All what the brave bird is saying is that, some Members do not have the country at heart, they sometime sellout for personal gains.
