The Shooting Stars of Sierra Leone have lost a 2-0 to Morocco under 20 squad last Saturday at the Mohamed VI Sports Complex in Rabat.
The goals from Aqued and Kharroubi in the 28th and 91st minutes secured the winning for the host. Earlier, the Sierra Leone FA said the match was part of their preparation for the 2025 U-20 AFC.
Shooting Stars are regarded as one of the most talented squads, and they feature several standout players.
Among them are Hindolo Mustapha from Crystal Palace, Osman Kamara, a winger for Arsenal’s U-18 team, and Aaron Kamara, who plays for West Ham United’s U-19 team. All three are in the training camp under the guidance of Coach Mohamed Lamin of the Sierra Leone’s Premier League team, East End Lions, despite putting up a very poor performance.
