The Killers, East End Lions FC secured a exciting 2-1 comeback victory against Freetown City FC in the ongoing Leone Rock Premier League.
At their least encounter, Musa Noah Kamara, popularly known as “Musa Tombo” made a good show in the admiration of his fans.
Freetown City, who suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to FC Kallon in their previous match, entered the game seeking to regain their footing and to climb the league table.
However, East End Lions, riding a wave of confidence with two consecutive wins, were proving to be a formidable opponent.
Tombo emerged as the hero of the match, scoring both goals for East End Lions.
He was named Man of the Match and was given an award for that feat.
His performance showcased his exceptional talent and reaffirmed his status as a key player for the team.
His victory further solidifies East End Lions’ position to the top flight of the league standing and will undoubtedly boost their morale as they continue their pursuit of reclaiming the league glory.
Lions had won the league for the past four years and have been in drought ever since.
