Sometimes I wonder whether my fellow countrymen really mean when the statement they use to express that they are now conscious to take correct decisions for their own development.

In many instances, the wise bird has heard them say they are fully conscious and that they will no longer allow politicians to fool them. But is statement actually true?

Meanwhile, after a careful study of the situation for a considerable period, Bra Parrot has come to the realization that this statement is just a mere pronouncement without purpose and is only overstressed when elections come closer.

In fact, the patriotic animal believes that deep in their hearts, they really do not mean what they say about their political or whatever consciousness.

The Parrot has observed that no political party supporter elite or otherwise ever questioned the background or ability of those who vie to govern us at different level.

All they normally do when it comes to elections is to randomly vote for those who contested on their party ticket, without the least consideration to what they are coming to offer. So, at the end, they started to cry in their little corners.

But who is to blame for this situation? Don’t tell me you don’t know. And we, I mean the people in this tiny nation will continue to wallow in our deplorable condition with all the numerous God’s given resources because our governors have realized that we hero-worship them instead of holding them responsible to serve us the way they should do.

Our statement that we are now conscious that we will no longer allow our servants to fool us is mere mockery of ourselves because they have realized that we love them more than they love us, which is why many of them only work in their own interest and allow us to continue with our endless and aimless talks on the streets like mad people while “we dae fen-we-han to mot.”

My candid advice to my fellow citizens of this kingdom as a respectable statesman is that, we have our destiny in our own hands and only we can shape it the way we want.

 “First of all, we need to look beyond party and family interest to support those who we believe are not only competent but willing and ready to work in our interest, otherwise, it’s going to be business as usual, with nothing shown for our wasted energy.

The situation is pathetic indeed, but Bra Parrot believes if we work together as a people, our governors will definitely do the needful. I have said it ooh!
