The Wise Bird is not only on planet Earth to talk about the present. The most respected and uncompromising bird speaks about the past, present and future and many a time it offers solutions to some of the problems affecting the people.

As everybody knows that the Wise Bird always calls things by their correct names, at the correct place and at the correct time without fear or favour.

Bra Parrot, the patriotic and fearless bird has nothing to fear as long as he is on the right track always.

When the All People’s Congress (APC) party came to power in 2007, the leader then made a promised to the people of Sierra Leone that he would bring light within 100 days and indeed he stood by his promise as light came within that time-frame.

Since that time, the Wise Bird would say without hesitation that there was continuous light throughout the capital, Freetown.

It came at a time that those in opposition at the time were saying in criticism, ‘nar light we dae eat;’ ‘nar road we dae eat?’ They were saying so because they wanted to gain political points at the time. Up to the time ex-president Ernest Koroma end time of office there was continuous power supply throughout Freetown.

If, and if only Sierra Leoneans are honest and sincere to themselves, the Wise Bird wants them to compare those days and these days in terms of the light situation in the country not only Freetown but in other cities in the country as well.

As the Wise Bird usually says the brave bird is not making a case for anybody but as the musician Emerson would say, ‘the truth has no other name; truth is always the truth.’

Even my President, your President, our President will agree with the Wise Bird that he is on the right-track of telling the truth.

The Wise Bird in totality will put the blame squarely on the President for the lack of power supply in the Capital Freetown.

The President was allegedly quoted as saying that the sacking of Alhaji Kanja Sesay will not bring us light.
