44-years-old Amara Salia alias Pelitp staff at NPAA has made another appearance before Magistrate Mary Julian Gbloh of Pademba Road court no.5 in Freetown. He stood on four count charges to conspiracy contrary to law, and for causing grievious Bodily harm with intent of wounding, assaulting and occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence on Friday 28th March at car wash kamayama Lumley the Western Area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a crime of causing grievous bodily harm.
Count two further stated that on the same date and place the accused person caused grevious bodily harm to Abubakarr Turay with intent to cause him grevious bodily harm.
Count three further stated that on the same date and place the accused person maliciously wounded one Abubakarr Turay.
Count four further stated that on the same date and place the accused person Assaulted the said Abubakarr Turay in a manner thereby occaisioning him actual bodily harm.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused person no plea taken.
The prosecutor Sergeant 5598 Santigie Koroma sought for a short adjournment date to led his next witness
Meanwhile, Magistrate Gbloh refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional facility in Freetown matter adjourned to the 8th July 2025.
