Nineteen-years-old, Ibrahim Sorie Kallon, a tailor, Twenty-five-years-OLD, Daniel Kargbo made their first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown.
They appeared to defend themselves on a count charge of larceny dwelling house Contrary to Section 13 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence both accused on Thursday 27th June 2024, at Baindus Drive off Lumley Beach Road Freetown in the Western Area in Freetown, they broke and ed into the dwelling house of chief Alhaji Sahr Fabba Mosay and stole three thousand four hundred United States dollars ($ 3,400) property of the said chief Alhaji Sahr Fabba Mosay.

Chief Alhaji Sahr Fabba Morsay lives at Beach Road Lumley, a traditional leader, and also a miner.
The witness continued that he recognized the accused persons in the dock. He stated that the first accused was staying with them to learn tailoring, and the second accused was brought by the first as his brother.
The witness stated that on Thursday, June 2024, he returned home from his business place with a bag of money, according to him, he went to his room with the said money and the second accused was at home at that time whiles the first accused was away.
The witness further that he took the said money and kept it inside his bag, the witness stated that he left home without realizing that he had forgotten the money at home at this juncture the Prosecutor sought for a short adjournment date
Counsel representing the accused C. Kamara made an application for bail on behalf of the accused persons
Meanwhile, Magistrate Kekura refused bail due to the seriousness of the matter, both accused remanded.
The matter was adjourned to 25th July 2024 for further hearing.
