The essence of providing security for the state (people and property) by government in power cannot be overemphasized as it is enshrined in the country’s constitution.

And where the state fails to provide same, the subjects will always live in perpetual fear.

However, even though it’s the responsibility of any government to guarantee the safety of its people, it’s also equally important for the people themselves to serve as their brother’s keepers, in that they always provide adequate and correct information to the government or concerned authorities for prompt action.

It is in that regard the peaceful and patriotic bird is in sympathy with President Julius Maada Bio for having sleepless nights these days following the November 26th security breaches in the capital which has left the population in total panic.

Thank God Bra Parrot is not the president of Sierra Leone, otherwise I would have left with no alternative but to sack some senior security members with immediate effect for security lapses especially those that led to the recent aforementioned incident that left some innocent souls perished.

There is no secret about it that Bra Parrot strongly believes certain people should be held accountable for the ugly incident as a result their negligence.

Bra Parrot is therefore sending a note of caution to our president to be vigilant and always beware of those he trusts particularly for our safety.
