It is no longer a secret that the harmful drugs consumption have eaten deep into the fabric of our nation and this has raised a serious national concern regarding the fate of our country and our local societies.
In a bid to scale up fight against this societal menace, Paramount Chief Bai Koblo Queen II on 19th October, 2025, endorsed the Anti-Drugs School Campaign in Marampa Chiefdom.
Being the first Paramount Chief that concerns about the welfare of his people, PC Bai Koblo Queen II has pledged his commitment to giving his full support in the fight against drugs in Marampa Chiefdom.
He stressed that the campaign against drugs is timely and well organised especially when it targeted schools.
“The learning institutions are expected to be moral guarantors when it comes to molding the characters of the next generation of leaders, so drugs should not be an option for school-going pupils at all.
“Fighting such a course is worth supporting. The fight is ours and we have to take the bull by its horns to sanitize our community,” the chief emphasized.
“The campaign commenced Monday 20th October and we are calling on all stakeholders to put hands on deck in the fight against drugs in our society,” he appealed in conclusion.
