The Port Authority Football Team, led by the astute legal officer Abu Bakarr Kamara, Esq AKA score goal, are set for an exciting chapter in the upcoming 2024/25 Sierra Leone Premier Season.

A recent gathering by officials and players of the team has shed a light on the management’s vision for the team’s success and the expectations on both of the new signings of some seasoned players.

Mr. Kamara, who’s managing the team, has emphasized the crucial values of portraying qualities of hard work and commitment by all players.

He urged all players to dedicate themselves to their careers as they a are now athletes, as he describes them,  representing the Port Authority football team. Notably, Mr. Kamara highlighted the potential for additional incentives such as giving them extra tips for victorious performances to serving as a motivation beyond their regular salaries.

The Human Resource Director Mr. Alhassan George reassured the players of his unwavering support while promising to provide everything necessary to boost their morale and elevate their game spirit. Underlining the importance of striving for victory, the director instilled a sense of purpose and determination in the team, declaring that they’ll be fighting until the very end.

Coach Mohamed Lamin Bangura, affectionately known as Ahua, stressed the significance of facilitating an open communication among the team members.  By encouraging transparency and collaboration, he emphasized that sharing updates and feedbacks are a vital element to ensure a team’s cohesion and progress.

During the gathering, players took the stage to express their unwavering commitment toward the team’s objective: that is to winning matches.

Without room for excuses, they declared their collective aim to achieve success in the field, while working to embodying a spirit of dedication and unity.

As the event concluded, pictures were captured to commemorate the occasion, while showcasing the solidarity between players, team officials, and the broader club management.

The inclusive atmosphere by the players reflects a shared determination as they promise to excel in the upcoming season, and they had a special welcome which was extended to the new recruits to the squad.

With a clear focus on maintaining hardwork, commitment,  communication, and a winning mindset, the Port Authority Football Team stand poised to make its mark in the 2024/25 Sierra Leone Premier Season. As they embark on this journey together, the team are primed to tackle challenges head-on and pursue excellence in the field.
