The Wise Bird will authoritatively say without hesitation that, elections are over but the struggle still continues unabated since polls ended on the 24th June 2023.

It was clear that President Bio was sworn-in immediately the Presidential results were announced; meaning President Bio continued in office as President that day to complete the work he had started in 2018 to 2023.

The Wise Bird will be magnanimous to anyone or group of people that will help the bird to point at all the developments so far made by the President in his second term in office.

Let’s think for a moment and reflect on his developments.

Nobody will be bold enough to tell the type of developments the President has embarked on in his second term in office.

The Wise Bird will attempt to name a few of the developments; others will be a different ball game.

Without prejudice to the President, what the bird had seen with his eyes are one the erection of railings at Kissy Road, the ones at Kissy Shell new road and the ones at Abacha Street which were removed and re-erected and to name but a few.

The other development is also the pedestrian-bridge at Shell new road, Wilberforce and Jui junction respectively.

The other developments the Wise Bird only knows of are the series of intimidations, harassments, victimization of the main opposition APC party and other political parties in the country, the high cost of living, inflation of petroleum products, increase in electricity tariffs in the country and the likes.

Since the June 24, 2023 general election, the country called Sierra Leone has been crying on a daily basis for lack of stability, unity and peace in the country.

The Wise Bird will say in a clear voice that, the peace talks organized by various organizations, groups all in the name of bringing peace in the land, but all efforts were killed at birth by the present regime.

The Wise Bird highlighted what he saw as a bird, and any other person is at liberty to say or bring his/her own points or what he/she had seen as development being made so far.

The most respected, patriotic and uncompromising bird is of the view that, every government has a responsibility, and that responsibility is to put the welfare of the people as its first priority.

Thank God the bird is in the bird’s Kingdom and nobody will accuse him of supporting anybody or a particular political party.

A Committee called ‘TRIPARTITE’ has just concluded its work. Its members are yet to make their recommendations public. But the question the Wise Bird is asking is; will anything serious come out of those recommendations?

Let’s wait and see on the 29th June, 2024.

If you don’t know that President was sworn-in as President on the 28th June, 2024 know that it was the day and it was that same day the Presidential results were announced and he took the oath of office.

So, plus/minus the 28th June 2024 will make him a one in office as President.
