On the occasion of the International Day of Education, Families Without Borders visited The Raining Season Orphanage Home to celebrate the power of education and its transformative impact on young lives.

The event was a vibrant and meaningful gathering filled with educational activities, engaging sessions, and acts of generosity that highlighted the importance of learning as a tool for growth and empowerment.

The celebration featured several *educative sessions* aimed at inspiring and equipping the children with valuable knowledge and skills. The session’s talks touch on important topics like:

Career Counseling. Experts were able to lead the session guiding the children to understand the different career paths, encourage them to dream big and explore opportunities that align with their interests and talents.

The counseling aimed at boosting their confidence and help the children to envision a brighter future.  Another topic was, Tech Education which recognizes the role of technology in shaping the future; the tech education session introduced the children to basic digital literacy and the potential of technology in solving real-world problems.

The session was designed to spark curiosity and build foundational skills for the digital age.

Another aspect of the teaching was on Interactive Discussions. It was an engaging interactive session that allowed the children to share their aspirations, ask questions, and learn from the speakers.

This activity fostered a sense of belonging and motivation, emphasizing that their voices matter and their goals are achievable.

In addition to the educational activities, Families Without Borders provided *food items and essential supplies* to the orphanage children, thus demonstrating their commitment to holistic support for the children’s well-being.

The provision of these items was a heartfelt gesture that reinforced the organization’s dedication to improving the lives of the vulnerable children.

The event was a resounding success, which left a lasting impact on both the children and caregivers. Speaking at the event, Christian  C.C Kormoh from Families Without Borders spoke that, “Education is the foundation of a better future. Today, we are not just celebrating education; we are investing in the dreams of these amazing children. Together, we can help them build a brighter tomorrow with educative sessions.”
