The former Chairman of Mighty Blackpool Football Club, Rodney Michael has part ways with the club citing principles as the reason behind his decision.
Michael, a well-respected football administrator, has played a key role in shaping Sierra Leonean football over the years. He has previously served in various leadership positions within the football community, including roles in the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA). His leadership at Mighty Blackpool was instrumental in stabilizing the club and fostering a competitive spirit within the Sierra Leone Premier League.
Though, the situations surrounding his resignation remain unclear, it comes just after the President of the SLFA was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Commission on graft charges last week.
