Now that the usual sitting place, the Cotton Tree, of Bra Parrot is no more, the brave bird is now all over the city of Freetown to get information from all angles.

As Bra Parrot is still mourning the death of his loved ones, the brave bird is daily up and down visiting friends to put ideas together for the funeral arrangement for those who died on the day the historic Cotton Tree fell down.

Bra Parrot was at a cookery-shop at George Street to visit his friend, the Eagle, at the cookery shop, the brave bird was very much astonished at one senior police officer who according to information has been very rigid and arrogant even to other senior officers.

As Bra Parrot was waiting to see the Eagle for discussions, a female police officer entered the cookery shop unknowing that, one senior police officer whose name was later given to Bra Parrot as AIG Braimah Jah was also inside the cookery shop to eat.

Bra Parrot saw all what happened between the female police officer and the senior officer (Mr.Braimah Jah), when the female police officer entered the cookery shop as usual, she removed her police beret, but when she noticed that, a senior officer was in the same cookery shop to eat, she put on her police cap and saluted Mr. Braimah Jah.

To the dismay of Bra Parrot, it seems as if that was the worst thing the lady did on earth to salute Mr. Braimah Jah.

In front of on lookers and other senior policemen at the cookery shop, AIG Braimah Jah molested the lady to the letter, saying that, the female officer did not salute him before removing her police beret. To those who were present including Bra Parrot the female officer did not see Mr. Jah when she entered and, it was after removing her police cap that she saw him. Even at that, AIG Jah has no right to do what he did, the best should have been for the Director of Operations to call her in his office for advice in the future.

Bra Parrot is not a police officer, but as courtesy demands, police officers must have respect for each other especially in public places.

Bra Parrot felt it so much for the lady, as a young female officer could not eat after the molestation.

Bra Parrot overheard some people saying that, some senior police officers the likes of Mr. Braima Jah feels as if they are demi gods.

As a friend of the police, Bra Parrot used to know the police force as a very discipline force but these days is a free for all in the police.

Mr. Inspector General, Bra Parrot has been following your activities since your appointment to date to that high office, the brave bird knows how disciplined you are.

Please, Mr. IG, some of your senior police officers, should go for refresher training to know how to talk to fellow officers and by extension the general public.

Bra Parrot is not making a case for the female officer who was molested but just thinking aloud for other senior officers not to do the same.

As Bra Parrot was still in the cookery-shop when Mr. Braimah Jah left, a good number of people were not happy with his behavior.

Bra Parrot also overheard people saying Mr. Braimah Jah’s level of education cannot refine him to know how to behave and talk to people in public places.

A lady who spoke to the brave bird said, to be educated is one, to have an understanding is another.
