On Saturday, 22nd February, 2025 at the Sky Vision College of Digital Technology and Management campus on Main Motor Road, Wilberforce in Freetown, over One Hundred and Fifty (150) students matriculated.
Speaking to students at the matriculation ceremony, the Head of Marketing Department, Madam Rasma stated that the matriculation ceremony symbolized a milestone in the life of matriculating students at the Sky Vision College. She noted that the occasion was a moment of pride and excitement as over one hundred and fifty students embarked on a new chapter in their educational journey at the esteemed learning institution.
Madam Rasma also spoke about the degree courses which they will soon start to offer.
She continued that Sky Vision management stands at the threshold of endless possibilities and it is ready to embrace challenges and opportunities lying ahead.
She urged all students to know and remember the purpose that brought all of them together under the same roof.
“You have chosen to seek knowledge, extend your horizons and to nurture your intellectual curiosity”, she stated as she further discussed, that the college is not merely a stepping stone towards a career building for students but it gives them a transformative experience whose courses would shape students into well rounded individuals in society.
She emphasized the point that when pursuing academic goals, one must strive for excellence in all aspects of one’s life.
She underscored that the college experience is not limited to the classroom, it extends to the relationship one builds, adding the extracurricular activities you engage in and the communities you belong to and could help as well.
She encouraged students to seize every opportunity to grow themselves into competent individuals.

He said they should challenge one another and make a positive impact around the world.
Madam Rasma advised students to acquire quality learning experiences, with a deep sense of resilience, showing empathy, humility with opened minds as always.
She called on students to take care of themselves with good mindset in their journey towards excellence.
In his submission, Vice Chancellor for the Ernest Bai Koroma’s University of Science and Technology, Dr. Prince Sorie, stressed that a matriculation ceremony is the formal process that a student goes before entering a college or university for degree or diploma courses in order for that student to become eligible in that college or university.
The student needs to enter and fulfill specific academic requirements especially by firstly sitting to the public examination.
He maintained that Sky Vision College is giving various access and opportunities to incoming d existing students.
“Sky Vision is a key partner to the Ernest Bai Koroma University, ” he said.
He advised students to focus and commit themselves in their academic works.
He discussed the important of acquiring quality education for future progress and development.
The lecturers were lauded for exhibiting professionalism in transforming the lives of many learners as they are taught basic computer skills.
The matriculation ceremony was climaxed with the display of various cultural activities and entertainments.
