In a bid to improve the standard of the national league in the country, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has embarked on a two-day training of football coordinators, Wednesday October 25 at SLFA secretariat in Freetown.
The training is geared towards enhancing the capacity building of over 70 football match managers both male and female to ensure best practice and professionalism in carrying out their duties in preparation for the commencement of a record of six (6) competitions across all categories, including the male and female Premier Leagues.
Addressing the participants, the acting general secretary, Mohamed Benson Bawoh, stated that the training is key because it will help to smoothly run football competitions in the country.
He further revealed that the Sierra Leone Football Association is set to conduct more professional trainings to capacitate key officials in match organizations, and enhance performance; discipline and fair- play in the game.
