Bra Parrot is the only bird that flies in and out of the Country for a purpose that is to sound the views of people and on the other hand to also give information to people about daily events relating to national development.
Sometimes other birds and even people fly un-necessarily out of the Country at the expense of the nation, the brave bird will never do anything that will be detrimental to the State.
This is more the reason the brave bird visit a lot of institutions to be better informed, and in turn informs the person accurately on both national and International issues, that is why the bird is so much loved by the people.
Bra Parrot is so much intelligent that, the brave bird takes time in reporting issues so that it feathers might not be removed by way of preventing the bird not to fly any more.
Before the elections, a lot has been said about the neutrality of the Chief Returning Officer Mr. Mohamed K. Konneh and by extension the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) itself.
Many a time, the neutrality of Mr. Mohamed K. Konneh was and still put to question by political parties in the Country especially the Main Opposition, the All Peoples Congress (APC) party.
During the elections, a lot of issues were also raised about the conduct of the elections, after the elections both Local and International Observers condemned the outcome of the elections in totality including the Main Opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) Party as not free, fair and lack credibility.
Notwithstanding all the condemnations, the incumbent gave deaf hears to all the concerns raised by all the parties, the incumbent went ahead and took the oath of office.
After all these, the Main Opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) party took a position that, they as a party will not take part in all governance structure.
In the process, a meeting was summoned by the executive of the party to inform all its membership the decision taken by the party. All members present at the meeting were asked to signed a document by way of supporting the decision taken by the executive, almost all elected members signed the document except one Mr. Mohamed Bangura who people referred to as ‘JUDAS’ and was brought in by former President Ernest Bai Koroma to destroy the party in totality.
Bra Parrot also noticed that, Mr. Mohamed Bangura did not stop at not signing the document; he even went ahead by way of presented himself in Parliament to take the Oath of office as a Member of Parliament, to the dismay of the general membership of the party and the general public.
Almost a week later, another elected member by the name of Mr. Alfred Thompson joined Mr. Mohamed Bangura to take the Oath in the Well of Parliament.
The question people are asking is who are they representing in Parliament? The party or themselves?
Bra Parrot sounded the views of a lot of people to get more; some say the two elected members lacked integrity to the highest, and their action is tantamount to lacking respect for themselves, the party they represent and the people of this Country.
Some people even went further to say that, the two JUDASES were not voted for, as a matter of fact, it was the party that was voted for, and not individuals the party has the right to remove them from Parliament.
The question is will the authority in Parliament support their removal?
