One of Sierra Leone Police highly credible logistical service providers and suppliers, the VIP Trading Company Sierra Leone Limited has made another shipment of large consignments of premium quality parboil rice to the SLP.
The One Hundred and Twenty Thousand (120,000) bags of top quality rice is set to made available for police monthly rice supplies to personnel from Police Headquarters on George Street in Freetown, to the lowest rank in the force anywhere in the country, disclosed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of VIP Trading Group Sierra Leone Limited, Ahmed H. Hashim fondly known as VIP.
The first class consumable rice consignment when fully distributed to police installations nationwide will boost personnel moral on the job even before the June polls.
A news, police officers received with joyous celebrations at their various deployments, as it brought smiles on the faces of personnel, at a time when a bag of rice is difficult to secure.
With logistical, material and moral support of the leadership of the Inspector General of Police, William Fayia Sellu, the Executive Management Board of the Sierra Leone, VIP Trading Company made the delivery of SLP monthly rice supplies in record time.
A proactive management drive by IGP Sellu and team police officers keep commending for their collective motivation police personnel on their jobs, a female constable recently confesses in a public transport whiles on her way to work.
VIP Trading Company Sierra Leone Limited officials FORUM spoke to last week, said this is not the first time their company is delivering standard and high quality rice to the police. They said since their company took up the task of providing the police with rice they have never fail in meeting their responsibility.
