Two Sierra Leonean female referees were selected by the Confredation of Africa Football to officiate a critical Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifying match between Tanzania and Ethiopia.
The match was played last Wednesday at the Azam Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
According to the appointment, Aminata Fullah served as the Central Referee, while her compatriot Agnes Abdul Gbla served as assistant referee one.
In a statement, the SLFA extended its appreciation to Fullah and Abdul Gbla. “Reping the nation with excellence, integrity, and professionalism is a huge understandings. The appointment is seen as a significant recognition of the quality and reliability of Sierra Leonean match officials in Africa,” they noted.
