The Wise Bird is getting sleepless nights as pressure continues to mount from all angles of the society with people asking the brave bird what is the present position of the tripartite recommendations.
Since the launching of the report nothing is done up to date to inform the public; nobody is talking to the people.
The brave bird has noticed that the main opposition APC and the government are not doing anything by way of educating the people about the recommendations.
The bird continues to get distressing calls on a daily bases as if he was a member of the tripartite committee.
Because of the pressure the brave bird is getting from the public, he had to make some moves out of the box to get the facts from those who are more knowledgeable about the tripartite committee outcome more than the bird.
The bird was left with no alternative but to fly to the APC Headquarters office as they are the aggrieved party, unfortunately, all the three persons the bird wanted to talk to were all at a meeting and the bird was made to understand i.e the Chairman, Secretary General and the Publicity Secretary to made their position known in respect of the tripartite recommendations.
The Wise Bird is completely in a confuse state of mind as to who is saying what because in an interview with the Voice of America(VOA) Dr Samura stated that, the election lack transparency and accountability.
He further stated that, the election was rejected by him as a leader and the entire party structure also rejected it in totality. What he told VOA was not what his senior colleagues have told the public. So who is taking to whom?
The people must allow the democratic principles to operate, Samura has said.
As a party, they still stand for what he referred to as going for a re-run of the elections. But when the recommendations came out that was left out; there was what he called divergent areas.
In the interview with VOA Dr. Samura was asked whether he had plans to meet with the President, and he answered in the affirmative.
As APC is not just limited to the party office, the bird went out to get more views from other people.
The bird flew all the way to the South-East of the country, in Bo city to be precise, and the bird surprised to hear people in Bo town talking loudly about the APC in support of them.
A young man who gave his name as Momoh Tommy said the APC has disappointed them; they should have stood on the point of having a re-run of election but they failed to put their case across.
A lady Aminata Amara who spoke to the bird said, “we are sitting on a time bomb as no one knows what will happen tomorrow to the people.” She also said that, “they as a people are waiting to see after the tripartite what next may happen because they are tired with the present system of government.”
