The Wise Bird reads almost all the newspapers being published on a daily basis to be more acquainted himself with the issues of the day, particularly issues of national interests.

As the most respected animal, while he was reading a newspaper, and the eyes of the bird caught a caption titled “DG Mohamed Massaquoi Threatens Journalist”.

As anything pertaining to Journalism or a Journalist, the bird is very much interested in it (the news headline) and will take it with the utmost seriousness it deserves.

Going through the article the brave bird noticed that it relates to victimization of a colleague worker.

According to a letter of resignation nation which unfortunately was not dated, it only carries a date of its effectiveness on 3^rd September, 2024.

As the Journalist was only trying to be professional in doing his/her work, and so, that was why he contacted Mr. Massaquoi to clear the air on allegations levied against him.

But from the look of things, that did not go down well with Mr. Massaquoi, so he had to threaten the Journalist by way of taking the law against the Journalist.

According to the content of the letter written by Mr. Morrison I.B Aruna it says  that the employee had been victimized by his former boss Mr. Mohamed Massaquoi for the past five years and that is a very long time of a victimization to someone, the bird cries.

The Wise Bird is of the view that, Mr. Arouna might not be the only person who may have suffered the same.

The concern of the brave bird is the threats against the Journalist for doing a professional job-by way of contacting the Director General to get his views on the allegations levied against him.

However, the brave bird appreciates Mr. Massaquoi for talking to the Journalist, and what angered the most respected animal is the threats made against the Journalist.

Most people in authority sometime forget that they are public servants who will one day leave the position they occupy at the time.
