The wise bird has been following the activities of all the political parties in the country, particularly the main opposition the All People’s Congress (APC).

If only those who are members and supporters of the APC could remember well what happened years back and what is going on now in the party can attest to the fact that they are almost similar to that of the 2018 scenario.

Like in the case of 2018 prior to National Delegates Convention, the bird has also noticed that some senior members of the party are resigning their executive positions in the party for the top most position-the standard bearer and Bra Parrot fervently believes that the ever increasing number of aspirants will soon overshadow the general membership of the party.

Ha, ha, ha, de game just de big.

Following his intensive investigations, the bird has discovered that about 28 plus has so far shown interest for the party’s top position.

And who knows how many more will have to resign their positions for the same reason in the coming days?

But Parrot does not see that as anything bad because we are living in a democratic country, so it’s their right to do so once they do not hurt others.

Unconfirmed report has indicated that, even the party’s Chairman Hon. Minkailu Mansaray is also interested in the top position. Who knows his deputy, the old man Pa Yansaneh has to follow them?

Thank God the wise bird is not a member of any of the political parties in the country over and above that the bird has no voting right. Only that he always wish them well for the betterment of the country in general.

Giving the way thing are unfolding, the Parrot can say without hesitation that, the APC is far from seriousness, giving credence to their members’ thought that it has no plans for the 2028 elections not to talk about regaining power.

The prediction of the wise bird is that, the APC will have to stay in opposition if they do not change their dancing patterns because everybody wants to be flag-bearer which by every indication is not possible.

Almost all the big guns in the party are all shallow minded politicians they only have interest for themselves and not for the general masses.

Please don’t misquote the patient bird because he didn’t say so, he is merely quoting what has come out from the mouth of some of their desperate and disgruntled supporters who want to see the back of the current regime.

As usual, the bird went out to sound the views of sober minded people in society especially their own members on this sensitive issue.

All those he contacted expressed dismay over the manner and behaviour of their senior members.

They said the manner in which the number of aspirants is rising for the top position in the party is a course for concern for some of them.

One senior member of the party told Parrot that the SLPP will continue to kill the people because almost all the senior members of the APC party are not serious to say the least.

He said he has no doubt that history will certainly repeat itself in the APC come 2028 considering the way things are current unfolding in the party.

He went further to say that, the party is deeply divided because all of the aspirants have created camps and bashing at each other.

“The APC have failed to realize that, 2028 is just around the corner and up to date they are not focus on organizing their divided house,” the member said.

SLPP, he said, is working behind the stage to continue in power come 2028.

The bird is watching how things are unfolding in the party.
