Ahead of the league season, Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League Board has engaged the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, to discuss preparations for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
SLFA President Babadi Kamara welcomed the Board and reaffirmed the association’s unwavering support for the development and growth of women’s football in Sierra Leone.
He applauded dedication and professionalism, stressing that the Women’s Premier League is vital for discovering and nurturing the “immense talents” of female footballers nationwide.
The Board Chairperson Hon. Mariatu Rachel Pessima
expressed high hopes for the new season, predicting it will be one of the best in the competition’s history. She highlighted that clubs have already started registration process using SLFA Connect, the football association’s online platform.
