Sheik Alimamy Dauda Sesay of Masjid Rahim in Fronsia village, Port Loko District, disclosed to africa24 newspaper how Ashraf Charity Foundation is promoting Muslims and Islam in general in their communities. “For the past five years we have been gifted in different forms from the foundation,” he said, adding that the mosques have benefitted from the supply of solar light, food items and many others.
Mr. Mohamed Issa, one of the Managers of the Foundation also disclosed their recent Iftar (fast breaking food items) to fasting Muslims in various mosques in the country throughout the Holy month of Ramadan. Some of these mosques are Masjid Sadikin, Masjid Al-Huda, Masjid Sahaba, Masjid Fatile and many others.
